My first choir concert at LFA

I entered choir as I entered LFA. My advisor, Mr. Plambeck, is the music teacher in our school, and he recommended that I play the piano and sing together in choir. At that time, I was pretty confident on the piano and played it in front of Mr. Plambeck; he was satisfied and then recommended it to me. I think that was a good decision to go to choir because I enjoyed the time there so much.

The month of practicing was really entertaining and fun. I usually sing the base, but when there is also a bariton part, I sing the bariton. We sang merry songs, acapella songs, and moody songs. Mr. Plambeck was actually really serious of our singing and conducted us really enthusiastically. I could vocally and musically learn a lot while I was singing. Personally, I don’t think I am good at singing. However, since I played the piano, he said I have a good sense of tone.

I played two songs on the piano. One was a fast and fun song to play, and the other was a bit slower and melodic. Both were not that hard, but I practiced quite hard to not make mistakes at the concert. At the concert, a lot of people, even parents, came to see our performance. I was quite nervous to play at such a big hall, but I ended up playing really nicely at the real concert. It was even live streamed with YouTube, and my piano teacher was really satisfied with my performance. I felt so good with the concert, and I felt I reached something big in here.
